FOR ESTABLISHED FOUNDERS | 3+ YEARS IN BUSINESS

working with successful businesses across australia

you started this business for freedom - let’s make that happen.

Welcome to The Business Flow Co.

Most founders who've been in business three years or more haven't got a strategy problem. They have a structural one - a business that was built around them, and has stayed that way.

Sarah Poole works with established female founders on the leadership and structural changes that allow a business to operate at a genuinely higher level, without the founder at the centre of everything.

Based on the North Coast of NSW - supporting founders nationally & internationally.

“The founders I work with have already proven they can build something. The question they’re sitting with is whether they can build it differently - in a way that doesn’t cost them everything to sustain.”

Identify the hidden friction quietly slowing your growth, energy, and decision-making

I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES.

There is a stage that many female founders reach - typically somewhere between three and ten years in - where the business is working by most measures, and yet something about the way it works has quietly become unsustainable.

The revenue is there. The clients are there. The reputation is there. And the founder is still, somehow, in the middle of all of it - every decision, every problem, every week.

This is not a conversation about working harder, finding better systems, or thinking more positively about the business. It is a conversation about the structural and leadership changes that allow a business to function well - with or without the founder's constant involvement. For many women who come to this work, that distinction is the one that changes everything.

do any of these situations sound familiar?

You have built a business that functions - it has clients, a team, consistent revenue. From where anyone else stands, it looks like success. The difficulty is that you know how much of it still depends on you being present, engaged, and available, and you need a new plan.

Growth has added complexity without adding ease. A larger business has not meant a lighter one. You are managing more, carrying more, and the gap between what the business looks like and what running it feels like continues to widen.

You are at a decision point - in the business, in a particular market, or in your own leadership - where the quality of strategic thinking available to you genuinely matters, and where experienced outside perspective would change the outcome.

You have hired people, put processes in place, and tried to distribute responsibility. The weight hasn't shifted in the way you expected it to. Decisions, reassurance, and the more complex problems still find their way back to your desk.

You have not lost belief in what you are building. But the version of leadership that got you here - the grit, the instinct, the doing-it-yourself - is no longer adequate for the business you now have. You know that. You just haven't found the path to the next version yet.

You have given everything to build a business that you love, but right now it doesn’t feel sustainable and you know that something has to give…

AN HONEST CONVERSATION
LIVE QUARTERLY EVENT.

A live conversation for established female founders about the stage of business almost nobody talks about honestly — the point where everything looks successful from the outside and something has quietly stopped working on the inside.

This is not a webinar. There are no slides, no pitch, and no recording. What is said in the room stays in the room, which is precisely what makes the conversation possible.

the business flow framework.

A structured methodology built specifically for

established founders who are ready to lead

differently.

Business Leadership

Most founders at this stage are excellent operators who have not yet made the transition to genuine leadership, and are often self-sacrificing in all areas of business-life.

This work examines how decisions are made, where accountability actually sits, and what it takes to lead a business rather than run one.

We ensure the health & wellbeing of the founder & leaders as central to the success of the business.

Business Foundations

A business without rock-solid foundations tends to create fragility over time.

This part of the methodology examines the six structural areas that, when underdeveloped, keep a business dependent on its founder's direct involvement regardless of how capable the surrounding team is.

Strong business foundations provide the ability to meet any opportunity or challenge as needed.

Business Flow

Flow is the state where a founder / leader, their business, and their life operate in a sustainable rhythm - where clarity, strategy, wellbeing, and strong foundations work together to create momentum, profitability, creativity, and ease.

It is a state in which the business no longer relies on constant pressure, hustle, or firefighting. Instead, it runs with structure, intention, and energy that supports both performance and personal wellbeing.

The framework was developed from direct experience - building and scaling businesses, making the structural mistakes that are common at this stage, and learning what how to shift the levers for actual change. It is not adapted from academic research or a standard consulting methodology.

about SARAH.

twenty years of building business & learning what actually changes them.

Sarah Poole built her first significant business in her late-twenties, a sixty-staff, six-office operation that she was central to scaling nationally before selling.

What she didn't have at the time was any real female model for how to lead a business at that scale, or any understanding of the structural changes that would have made the whole thing considerably less hard. She learned those things the way most founders do: by getting them wrong first.

The Business Flow Framework was built from everything that followed - two decades of building further businesses, coaching hundreds of founders, and developing a clear-eyed understanding of where founder-led businesses get stuck and why.

What she has consistently observed is that the obstacles at this stage are structural and leadership-based. They are not fixed by working harder, thinking differently, or finding better tools. They are fixed by changing the architecture of how the business is led and how it operates.

Sarah works with a small number of founders at any given time. The work is specific, substantive, and designed for women who are genuinely ready to examine how their business operates - and their own role in that.
